‘Censored'

This original parody features an altered and enhanced thrift store print with added pixels to make the lovely lady appear nude.

The Process:
As if thrift shopping wasn't fun enough, I search all over Oregon for old, unwanted art that is in need of some TLC. Some paintings speak to me and I know immediately what I would like to add whereas some paintings I'm drawn to with no ideas in mind. Either way, when I fall in love with a painting I take it home and give it the attention it deserves. I clean and repair the frames and hardware ensuring it will be in great shape for years to come. Then I set to work studying the style and techniques and parody it with pop culture additions. All additions are hand painted with acrylic paint.

The Details:
-As always, shipping is FREE on original paintings
-This painting is smaller in size. The art itself measures 16x20 inches. With the frame it measures 18x22 inches.
-The frame is vintage and from a thrift store. While I do everything I can to repair these beautiful old frames, it does come in as-in condition. Please remember that this is vintage and not new. Details can be seen in the images.
-The alterations I added are painted on top of a print. This is not an original from the original artist. It is a print on backing.
-As this is thrift art, the painting comes in as-is condition. Please see images for imperfections. If you would like more images, please let me know. I'm happy to provide more.
-New hardware and backing have been applied, making it ready to hang in your home.
-Free Shipping in the Continental U.S. Please contact me for shipping costs to Alaska, Hawaii, and abroad
-International Shipping is Available. If interested, please message us with your address, and I can calculate shipping prices for you.
